President Lindsley Farewell Message

Hello NAIFA-Wisconsin! As my year as President comes to an end, I thought we could reflect on the many accomplishments NAIFA-Wisconsin has achieved in 2023:

  • The entire board completed the Leadership Empowerment course which led to a more strategic board meeting moving forward.
  • Monthly NAIFA Live events held in Green Bay at D2 along with 2 book studies.
  • Successful Legislative Day and the Power Summit. Starting next year, we will hold one large in-person event per year. 2024 will be an Advocacy Day in Madison with speakers and a tour of the Capital. Check the Events Calendar for details! Greater attendance is the goal because we are only asking you to leave your practice once a year instead of twice.
  • 90-degree weather blessed our October golf outing and the golfers blessed Camp Hope with donations.
  • The Financial Literacy Bill was FINALLY passed! We have been working on this bill for a few years and to see it finally become a law was amazing. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a reality. There were countless meetings and conversations.
  • It is with a heavy heart that NAIFA Wisconsin says “So Long” to Laura DeGolier, CLU, LUTCF, FSS, RICP. Her passion for everything advocacy will be missed and will truly never be replaced. We wish you the best in retirement, Laura!

I look forward to meeting more of you in 2024, and I know that you are in good hands with our new President, Chris Henderson, CLU.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
