About this Session:
In a world where algorithms are learning to manage portfolios faster than you can say “fiduciary,” financial advisors face a stark truth—adapt or become obsolete. AI is here. It’s efficient, tireless, and already replacing routine financial tasks. But there’s one thing it will never master: the human connection. In Be Irreplaceable, keynote speaker and communication expert Matt Halloran delivers a jolt of reality—and a roadmap to relevance. Through bold storytelling and actionable strategies, Matt challenges advisors to stop hiding behind scripts and start mastering the one skill no machine can replicate: engaged, empathetic, deeply personal communication. Learn how to build trust faster, influence deeper, and connect on a level that turns clients into lifelong advocates—because in the age of AI, being human is your last competitive edge.

After attending this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Admit that AI can do a lot of what you have historically done for clients
  • Learn how AI can actually help you be irreplaceable
  • Learn how the Atomic Content Method works and how it can help you make the connections needed to grow your business organically

About Book Club:
The lack of personal accountability is a problem that has resulted in an epidemic of blame, victim thinking, complaining, and procrastination. No organization—or individual—can successfully compete in the marketplace, achieve goals and objectives, provide outstanding service, engage in exceptional teamwork, or develop people without personal accountability.

John G. Miller believes that the troubles that plague organizations cannot be solved by pointing fingers and blaming others. Rather, the real solutions are found when each of us recognizes the power of personal accountability. In QBQ! The Question Behind the Question®️, Miller explains how negative, ill-focused questions like “Why do we have to go through all this change?” and “Who dropped the ball?” represent a lack of personal accountability. Conversely, when we ask better questions—QBQs—such as “What can I do to contribute?” or “How can I help solve the problem?” our lives and our organizations are transformed.

A. Jack Nussbaum Lifetime Achievement Award

By Richard Balch, CFP, CLU, RICP on 3/2/26 3:57 PM

The Return of the A. Jack Nussbaum Award: Nominate Your Industry Hero

Recognition is the lifeblood of any great organization. When we publicly commend those who exemplify our values, we don’t just honor an individual; we inspire our entire membership and reinforce the standard of excellence that defines NAIFA-WI.

A Tradition Reborn

From 1970 through 2019, the A. Jack Nussbaum Award was a cornerstone of our association, honoring the absolute best in our industry. While the disruptions of the last few years put the program on a temporary hiatus, we are thrilled to announce that the momentum is back. This year, we will name our first recipient since 2019.

Who was A. Jack Nussbaum?

A. Jack Nussbaum was a "doer for all." As an insurance agent and NALU President (1956), he was known for working without prejudice or thought of personal gain. He was a man of infinite warmth and dedication to his family, his associates, and his country. To receive this award is to walk in the footsteps of a true servant-leader.

Call to Action: Nominate Today

There are many "heroes" within NAIFA-WI who deserve to be recognized for their tireless work and dedication. I challenge you to look at your peers and nominate someone who embodies the spirit of A. Jack Nussbaum.

NAIFA's Congressional Conference

By NAIFA-Wisconsin on 2/3/26 4:43 PM

The Premier Advocacy Event for Financial Professionals

May 18-19, 2026 | Capital Hilton | Washington, D.C.

About the Event

Every year, NAIFA members from all 50 states come together in Washington, D.C., for the Congressional Conference, the signature advocacy event for the financial service profession.

This is your opportunity to stand united with fellow advisors, tell your story directly to lawmakers, and help shape the policies that affect your practice, your clients, and Main Street families across the country.

Through your presence on Capitol Hill, you represent the trusted advisors who ensure Americans can save, plan, protect, and retire with dignity. Your voice is essential and policymakers want to hear it.

Two Powerful Days

Day One (May 18): Training, Messaging & Mission Alignment

Our first day equips every attendee, from returning advocates to first-timers, with the clarity, confidence, and unified message needed to make a real impact. You’ll receive in-depth policy briefings, advocacy training, and expert insights.

Day Two (May 19): Day on the Hill

This is when your training becomes action. NAIFA members meet with senators, representatives, and congressional staff to advocate for policies that protect consumers, support small businesses, and strengthen the work you do every day as a trusted financial professional.

Create an exponential leap in business results by leveraging the same performance mindsets used by the most successful athletes, artists, and leaders of all time.

What separates the top 1% of advisors from everyone else? It’s not more advanced tools and products. It’s not more certifications. It’s not their pedigree or the country club they belong to. It’s how they think about every part of their business.

In this presentation, we’ll dive deep into the culture of performance. First, we present and dissect what modern neuro and behavioral science tells us about high performers. Next, we look at the three ways advisors choose to “play the game”—playing not to lose, playing to play, and playing to win—and why those mindsets persist. From there we move to assessment, helping attendees quantify performance in the five most critical areas of their business, and finally, we culminate in actionable takeaways every advisor can use to level up their results.
