Advocacy starts with a conversation. On October 7, several members of NAIFA–Wisconsin’s Northeast Affiliate gathered at U.S. Representative Tony Wied’s office in the Green Bay area to discuss issues important to insurance and financial professionals and the clients they serve.

The discussion focused on H.R. 6234, H.R. 7187, and H.R. 8867. Congressman Wied expressed support for all three bills, describing them as common-sense measures that should move forward.

Meetings like this give NAIFA members an opportunity to share firsthand perspectives on how federal policy affects their businesses and their clients’ financial security. They also help build relationships that keep those concerns part of the conversation in Washington.
