The Return of the A. Jack Nussbaum Award: Nominate Your Industry Hero

Recognition is the lifeblood of any great organization. When we publicly commend those who exemplify our values, we don’t just honor an individual; we inspire our entire membership and reinforce the standard of excellence that defines NAIFA-WI.

A Tradition Reborn

From 1970 through 2019, the A. Jack Nussbaum Award was a cornerstone of our association, honoring the absolute best in our industry. While the disruptions of the last few years put the program on a temporary hiatus, we are thrilled to announce that the momentum is back. This year, we will name our first recipient since 2019.

Who was A. Jack Nussbaum?

A. Jack Nussbaum was a "doer for all." As an insurance agent and NALU President (1956), he was known for working without prejudice or thought of personal gain. He was a man of infinite warmth and dedication to his family, his associates, and his country. To receive this award is to walk in the footsteps of a true servant-leader.

There are many "heroes" within NAIFA-WI who deserve to be recognized for their tireless work and dedication. I challenge you to look at your peers and nominate someone who embodies the spirit of A. Jack Nussbaum.

As your Wisconsin Chapter President, I’m excited to share what our chapter has in store for 2025. The Board has been hard at work, and I’d like to highlight some key updates.

Since taking office in January, we approved a balanced budget and renewed our contract with Schreiber Government Relations Group for another two years to align with Wisconsin’s biannual budget cycle. In February, we welcomed ten new members—if you’re one of them, welcome to NAIFA-WI! We’re thrilled to have you on board.
