NAIFA-WI Power Summit Recap: Built to Adapt. Positioned to Win.
Last week, NAIFA-Wisconsin brought together financial professionals from across the state for the 2026 Power Summit in Green Bay, a two-day event focused on helping advisors stay competitive, relevant, and resilient in a rapidly changing environment.
Held April 21–22 at the Tundra Lodge, this year’s theme, “Empowering Advisors in Any Climate” was more than a tagline. It showed up in every session, conversation, and connection throughout the event.
Attendees gained practical, real-world insights from an outstanding lineup of speakers covering the issues that matter most right now. From economic outlooks and retirement system updates to ethics and next-generation professionalism, each session was designed to deliver actionable strategies advisors can bring back to their practices immediately.
A standout focus this year was long-term care planning, an area growing in urgency for both clients and advisors. Sessions led by industry experts explored both the technical landscape and real-life client scenarios, equipping attendees with a more complete approach to navigating care planning conversations and solutions.
Of course, the value of Power Summit extends well beyond the classroom. Whether it was reconnecting with colleagues, building new relationships, or sharing ideas with peers facing similar challenges, the energy throughout the event reinforced one of NAIFA’s greatest strengths: community. A private tour of Lambeau Field added a memorable backdrop for those conversations and reminded everyone that strong relationships, like strong teams, are built over time.
The event also featured a State of NAIFA update, reinforcing the association’s ongoing commitment to advocacy, professional development, and supporting advisors at every stage of their careers. In a time when the profession continues to evolve, leadership and alignment are more important than ever.
The takeaway is clear: advisors who continue to invest in their knowledge, sharpen their skills, and engage with their professional community are the ones best positioned to succeed, regardless of market conditions.
Thank you to everyone who attended, spoke, sponsored, and helped make this year’s Power Summit a success. If you missed it, now’s the time to get plugged in because momentum like this is worth being part of.
